Meet Kris Klimas — Barcode Scanner Specialist
Krzysiek (Kris) Klimas founded Red Barcode Planet in 2014 after recognizing that warehouse operations across the US were paying full replacement cost for scanners that needed minor repairs. What started as a local Chicagoland repair operation has grown into a nationwide depot repair service trusted by warehouses, 3PLs, distribution centers, and logistics companies in all 50 states.
Kris has personally repaired or overseen the repair of more than 5,000 Zebra, Honeywell, Motorola/Symbol, Intermec, and Datalogic handheld scanners since 2014 — including legacy devices running Android 8 through 11, Windows Mobile 5.0, 6.1 and 6.5, and Windows CE 5.0 and 7.0. He understands that not every operation can afford to migrate to Android, and he built RBP's repair practice around keeping legacy fleets alive as long as they're needed.
